Project 52: Securing Our Community, One Non-Profit at a Time

At Martin Communications, we’ve always believed in the power of community. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Project 52, our ambitious initiative to give back to the organizations that make our neighborhoods stronger, safer, and more vibrant.

What is Project 52?

Project 52 is our commitment to install free or extremely discounted security systems for non-profit organizations in our community.

Why Are We Doing This?

Non-profit organizations are the backbone of our community. They provide essential services, support those in need, and make our world a better place. However, these organizations often operate on tight budgets, and security can sometimes take a back seat to other pressing needs.  We want to change that.

By providing free security systems, we’re not just protecting buildings – we’re safeguarding the important work these organizations do. We’re ensuring that staff and volunteers can focus on their mission without worrying about security concerns. And we’re helping to create safer spaces for the people these non-profits serve.

For organizations needing more extensive security solutions, we’re offering discounted upgrades and additional equipment rates.

Who Is Eligible?

Project 52 is open to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations within our service area. We’re looking for organizations that make a significant impact in our community and could benefit from enhanced security.

Any house of worship or non-profit is eligible.

Why Security Matters For Non-Profits

Unfortunately, the very organizations supporting our community are at risk. However, these organizations are often at risk. In 2020, the FBI reported more than 800 incidents against religious properties.

But security isn’t just about preventing theft or vandalism. It’s about creating a safe environment where important work can thrive.

For a food bank, it means protecting vital supplies that families depend on. For a women’s shelter, it means ensuring a sanctuary remains secure. For an after-school program, it’s about giving parents peace of mind.

A secure space allows non-profits to focus on what they do best – serving our community. It can also help with insurance costs, volunteer recruitment, and overall peace of mind for staff and clients alike.

Our Commitment Beyond Installation

Project 52 isn’t just about installing systems and walking away. We’re committed to providing ongoing support to ensure these security systems continue to serve these organizations well into the future.

 This includes:

  • Training for staff on how to use the system effectively
  • Regular check-ins to ensure the system is meeting the organization’s needs
  • Discounted rates on future upgrades or expansions
